My wife, family and babysitter love me now... - I ll keep this short and simple... like the Harmony 880. This remote has freed me from 4 different remotes and it took only minutes to set up (tip: be sure to have all your make and model numbers ready before you begin). For a refurbished item, it s working flawlessly. I DO see that the picture of the cradle has 3 contact areas - like the remote - but my cradle only has two. However, I ve gotten a full charge and it s working like a champ. (I ll keep an eye on it and report back if there s a problem) DVR, DVD, XBox, TV, Onkyo receiver... I think you can throw just about any component in any configuration and it will work just like the factory remote. The ONLY thing I can t do it switch from 4x3 to 16:9 when going from SD to HD when watching cable. Small detail...Everyone in my household took to it instantly and won t stop thanking me for spending the money to get this into our home. You should ENJOY your time infront of the TV... not have to search, explain, struggle and curse. The Logitech 880 brings TRUE harmony to your home entertainment system.

Perfect! - I was always dubious purchasing a universal remote, but after many years and recent frustrations I decided to take the plunge. This remote is fantastic! It is quite easy to setup once you have played with it a little it s a breeze! Now I have to press one button using the activity menu to turn on my TV, Cable Box & Surround Sound system at the same time. You can also operate any of these using the devices function and it is very easy to use. I was dubious because it is extra buttons to press to get what you need, BUT it is much easier than hunting for the remote only to find your child is using it as a teething ring :-) She certainly is not getting this one!!! ,-) This was a refurbished product but you would not have known as it came as if it was new and there were NO marks on this whatsoever! VERY PLEASED with this product and am considering purchasing another one for our family room.

Programming Nightmare - I bought this item to make using my TV, DVD, Dish Box, and VCR. simpler. So far the opposite has happened.I would never recommend this to anyone, friend or foe. Programming the damn thing was too complicated. For a devise that is supposed to simplify my life, that is an unpardonable sin.

Logitech Harmony 880 - Love it! Works as advertised. Easy to follow setup software. Just enter your make and model numbers and the software does the rest. Just have to press one button to watch TV or DVD. I only have to use this remote now. My other remotes are now offically collecting dust.
